San Leon Energy Receives MLPL Loan Notes Owed For Second Quarter

LONDON (Alliance News) - San Leon Energy PLC said Monday Midwestern Leon Petroleum Ltd has paid its its dues related to loan notes due for the second quarter of 2018.

Midwestern Leon paid USD7.7 million on top of the USD11 million paid Friday, which covers the full obligation of loan notes owed to San Leon Energy for the second quarter.

A balance of USD157.7 million remains outstanding and payable to San Leon. Interest continues to accrue at 17% per annum.

Shares in San Leon Energy were up 0.5% Monday at 24.12 pence each.
