(Alliance News) - Regal Petroleum PLC on Thursday said it has spudded the SV-54 well at its Ukrainian Mekhediviska-Golotvshinska and Svyrydivske gas and condensate fields.
The well was spudded on Wednesday and has a depth of 5,320 metres, the London-headquartered company said. It is set to complete by the second quarter of 2020 and, if testing is successful, production hook-up will follow in the third quarter.
SV-54 is a development well at the wholly-owned Ukrainian fields and is targeting two horizons within the Visean formation, B-22 and B-23.
Shares in Regal Petroleum were untraded at 31.00 pence in London on Thursday morning.
