Redcentric Hires New Chair Johnson; Non-Executive Rigg To Leave

Thu, 17th Oct 2019 10:41

(Alliance News) - Redcentric PLC said Thursday that Ian Johnson will become the new chair of the IT services firm with immediate effect, replacing Chris Cole after he announced in August his intention to resign the chair.

Johnson previously was executive chair of Bioquell PLC between 2016 and earlier in 2019, and was recently appointed non-executive director at Ergomed PLC.

Redcentric Chief Executive Officer Peter Brotherton said he was "pleased" to welcome Johnson to the firm.

"Ian's wealth of experience will be of great benefit to the company and we look forward to working with him," Brotherton said.

In addition, Non-Executive Director Chris Rigg will leave the Harrogate-based firm at the end of 2019. This was following his appointment as CEO of Mandata Ltd, starting in November.

Shares in Redcentric were 0.5% lower at 86.09 pence in London on Thursday.
