PRESS: WPP Takes UK To Court Over GBP400 Million Contract Loss - FT

Fri, 17th Oct 2014 05:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - A subsidiary of WPP PLC has taken legal action to prevent the UK government from moving a GBP400 million contract to a competitor and has obtained a court order to block public access to information on the case, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

WPP's GroupM filed a claim in the High Court in London last month to challenge a decision by the government to award a contract, worth GBP100 million per year over four years, to Carat, an agency owned by rival Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd.
