LONDON (Alliance News) - Spanish lender Banco Santander SA is in talks to buy UK stockbroker Peel Hunt, according to Sky News.
Sky said "sources close to the talks" called them "preliminary" and might not lead to a deal.
In a statement issued on Monday evening, Sky reported, Peel Hunt Chief Executive Steven Fine? said: "Peel Hunt is categorically not up for sale."
