LONDON (Alliance News) - Persimmon PLC on Wednesday said it appointed Claire Thomas as independent non-executive director with effect from August 1.
Thomas has been senior vice president at GlaxoSmithKline PLC for more than 10 years, with responsibility for the global HR function.
She has over 28 years' experience operating in the global HR environment, the company said.
She was also previously a non-executive director at the UK Government's Department of Energy & Climate Change.
Persimmon shares were trading marginally higher at 2,350.00 pence each early Wednesday morning.
