Pendragon Adds SSE's Nikki Flanders To Board As Non-Executive Director

(Alliance News) - Motor retailer Pendragon PLC on Friday said it has named a Nikki Flanders as a non-executive director effective April 1.

Flanders is currently managing director of SSE PLC's Energy Customer Solutions division.

Flanders as previously held "senior non-statutory executive roles" at power producer Drax Group PLC's Opus Energy, telecommunications firm Telefonica SA, WH Smith PLC and Centrica PLC.

Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chair Bill Berman said: "I am delighted that Nikki is joining the board and look forward to working with her. I am confident that her extensive track record and considerable experience across a range of sectors will provide significant insight as we continue our transformation."

Shares in the company were 2.4% lower at 7.81 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
