(Alliance News) - London-based natural resources company Pathfinder Minerals PLC on Friday announced the appointment of Peter Taylor as chief executive officer and director with immediate effect.
Outgoing CEO Dennis Edmonds will become non-executive chair, replacing Henry Bellingham who has resigned from the board.
Taylor has over 30 years of experience in leading strategic operations in Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe. Taylor most recently was CEO of AIM-listed Alien Metals Ltd.
Edmonds said: ""Peter has a wealth of relevant experience to bring to bear at Pathfinder. His qualifications in business and mining transactions, coupled with hands-on practical experience in operating environments, brings a knowledge and perspective to the board which will be invaluable as we work towards achieving a positive resolution in Mozambique and assess other opportunities being presented to us."
Pathfinder's shares were down 5.5% at 0.45 pence on Friday midday.
