OnTheMarket Signs Listing Agreement With Housebuilder Bellway

Fri, 24th Jan 2020 09:22

(Alliance News) - OnTheMarket PLC said Friday it has signed a listing agreement with FTSE 250 housebuilder Bellway PLC, under which Bellway will list its residential properties on the company's property portal.

No financial details for the deal were specified.

In November, OnTheMarket signed a listing deal with FTSE 100 housebuilder Persimmon PLC, which followed a similar agreement in September with peer Barratt Developments PLC.

"We are delighted that Bellway has decided to join us as we start the new year while we continue to broaden our property advertiser base and widen our appeal to active property-seekers. Bellway is a highly successful developer which is committed to addressing the growing national housing shortage by building high quality homes in desirable locations," said Commercial Director Helen Whiteley.

Shares in OnTheMarket - which is based in London - were untraded on Friday at 71.90 pence. Newcastle upon Tyne-based Bellway's shares were 1.1% higher at 4,064.54p.
