(Alliance News) - Financial services firm Old Mutual Ltd said Monday it has appointed Brian Armstrong as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Armstrong's most recent executive role was as chief operating officer at South African telecommunications firm Telkom SA SOC Ltd, for seven years from 2010 to 2017.
He is currently a professor of Digital Business at Wits Business School in Johannesburg.
Shares in Old Mutual were up 1.7% at ZAR11.91 in Johannesburg, while its London shares were 3.1% higher at 55.74 pence in London.
