(Alliance News) - Oakley Capital Investments Ltd on Monday announced the appointment of Richard Lightowler to its board as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
Lightowler previously served as partner of KPMG's Bermuda arm. He also headed the KPMG's Insurance Group in Bermuda
Chair Caroline Foulger said: "We are very pleased to welcome Richard to the board. Richard's appointment as an independent director marks the third change we have made to the board's composition in the last 15 months. In strengthening the board by adding independent members, with diverse perspectives and deep expertise, we believe the board is well positioned to support OCI as it continues to grow and develop."
The other new additions to the board include former Director of Orbis Investments Craig Bodenstab, who was appointed in July, and former chief operating officer & chief financial officer at Wilkinson Sword and TI Group Stewart Porter, who joined September last year.
