Next to stock Laura Ashley when stores reopen after lockdown

Mon, 15th Mar 2021 17:22

(Alliance News) - Next PLC will launch a range of Laura Ashley products in its Spring collection, investment firm Gordon Brothers International LLC said on Monday.

Laura Ashley, a fashion and furnishings retailer, fell into administration back in March of last year. It was subsequently bought by Gordon Brothers.

FTSE 100-listed Next will stock a range of Laura Ashley products in 48 of its stores once shutters are lifted and Covid-19 restrictions ease.

Laura Ashley and Next began a partnership back in October.

"The partnership with Next is an important part of the brand's evolution and generating a licensees portfolio to build strategic wholesale and retail relationships," Gordon Brothers said.

Next shares closed up 1.3% at 7,784.00 pence each in London on Monday.
