(Alliance News) - Maven Income and Growth VCT 5 PLC on Tuesday said it has promoted Non-Executive Director Graham Miller to chair, replacing Allister Langlands.
The venture capital trust confirmed that Langlands will step down after the annual general meeting on April 28. Langlands was appointed chair in June 2019.
Miller is currently chair of medical packaging manufacturer Westfield Medical Ltd, as well as of sports & apparel distributor Shiner Ltd. He is also a non-executive director of marine & waterfront regeneration firm Sutton Harbour Group PLC, and of wealth management company Fidelius Financial Holdings Ltd.
Separately, Maven Income and Growth VCT 3 PLC said it has received subscriptions up to its fundraising limit of GBP7.5 million and it is therefore closing its offer. In November, the trust said it intended to raise up to GBP15 million.
Shares in Maven Income and Growth VCT 5 closed untraded at 32.60 pence each on Tuesday in London. Maven Income and Growth VCT 3 shares closed untraded at 54.50 each.
