(Alliance News) - Netcall PLC on Monday said Tamer Ozmen will join the company as a non-executive director shortly after the company's annual general meeting on Thursday.
The customer engagement software provider explained that the move follows its commitment to "broaden the independence" of the board.
Netcall said Ozmen brings with him "significant" industry experience and will further strengthen the skills of the board. He has held senior positions with Microsoft Corp over the past nine years, firstly as chief executive of Microsoft Turkey and more recently running Microsoft Consultancy Services in the UK.
Ozmen also sits on the board of professional services provider Charles Taylor PLC as a non-executive director.
"I look forward to welcoming Tamer to the board of Netcall. His significant experience in the implementation of digital transformation projects, combined with his understanding of the telecoms and multichannel worlds, will be of great value to us as we seek to drive the business forward," said Chair Michael Jackson.
Netcall shares were trading 0.4% higher in London on Monday afternoon at 24.20 pence each.
