Lloyds appointed Nick Prettejohn as chairman of its pensionscompany, Scottish Widows Group. The former chairman of BritInsurance was also named non-executive director ofLloyds Banking Group.
CANADIAN IMPERIAL BANK OF COMMERCE
Canada's fifth-largest bank said on Thursday that ChiefExecutive Gerry McCaughey plans to retire as of April 30, 2016.
STANDARD CHARTERED PLC
The British bank named Tom Willett as global head of mergersand acquisitions to replace Andrew Suckling, who is taking a12-month sabbatical. Willett will take charge on June 1.
CREDIT SUISSE GROUP AG
Credit Suisse has hired Jonathon Kaufman, who was a managingdirector at Deutsche Bank AG's natural resourcesgroup, to boost its global power and renewables practice,according to an internal memo reviewed by Reuters.
BANK OF AMERICA CORP
Bank of America's Merrill Lynch unit said on Wednesday thatit had hired two financial advisers from Morgan Stanley.
Brian Saroken and Gerald Saroken managed about $300 millionin assets at Morgan Stanley and had annual fees and commissionsin excess of $2.6 million.
