Jan 27 (Reuters) - Barclays Wealth and InvestmentManagement, the investment management unit of Barclays Plc, said it has appointed Francesco Grosoli head of wealthmanagement Europe.
Grosoli has been working in wealth management with high networth clients since 1989 and joined Barclays in May 2007, thecompany said.
He will lead the company's private banking business inEurope and report to Akshaya Bhargava, chief executive, BarclaysWealth and Investment Management.
The firm has also appointed Warren McRae as business chiefoperating officer for Europe. McRae will also continue with hisexisting responsibilities as chief operating officer forSwitzerland and Monaco, Barclays said. (Reporting by Shailaja Sharma in Bengaluru)
