Mirriad Advertising elevates John Pearson to chairman

(Sharecast News) - AI platform designer Mirriad Advertising revealed on Tuesday that non-executive director John Pearson will succeed Roger Faxon in the post of chairman as the group's strategic refocus started to gather pace.Pearson took over from Roger Faxon, effective immediately, but the former chair will remain with Mirriad as a non-executive director as its board conducts a search for a permanent replacement.The AIM-listed firm said the process reiterated its "unique market position" and its "exceptional assets while addressing the ineffectiveness of its previous Go To Market strategy."Chief executive Stephan Beringer said: "I am really looking forward to working with John as chair. He has world-class experience in the sector, in technology and with business acceleration. He will help us take our company to its next level."The changes announced today are a further step in delivering the new strategy with a new team and they show our determination to move fast."As of 0850 BST, Mirriad shares had climbed 6.15% to 6.90p.
