LONDON (Dow Jones)--Marks & Spencer Group PLC (MAKSY, MKS.LN) has abandoned its search for a strategy director, facing concerns over the compensation of Chief Executive Marc Bolland and Sir Stuart Rose, who preceded him, the Financial Times in London reported Saturday, citing people familiar with the situation. Marks & Spencer Group also is looking to fill two other board positions, chairman and finance director, with the chairman role seen focusing on strategy.
