IP Group agrees Princeton deal

University venture capital partner IP Group has agreed a pilot intellectual property commercialisation collaboration with Princeton University The collaboration has been agreed for an initial 18 months and will focus on developing early-stage, proof-of-principle opportunities based on intellectual property developed at Princeton. The agreement covers all materials and clean technology, all life, medical and human sciences and information technology as well as electronics, communications and robotics. "We are excited to be one of the first US universities to partner with IP Group," John Ritter, Director of Princeton's Office of Technology Licensing said. "The collaboration will increase the potential for great companies to emerge from the innovative research at Princeton."RD Ip Group
