LONDON (Alliance News) - Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC on Tuesday said it renewed long-term distribution deals with software firm TecCom GmbH and infusion pumps manufacturer Micrel Medical Devices SA.
The medical device company said it has been the exclusive distributor of TecCom's Tecotherm products on a worldwide basis for over 11 years. Tecotherm Neo product is used to cool and warm babies in neonatal intensive care settings.
An earlier version of the Tecotherm Neo, the Tecotherm TSmed200, showed a potential for the treatment of perinatal asphyxial encephalopathy in a newborn.
In addition, the company has been the distributor of Micrel infusion therapies products in the UK and Ireland. Micrel currently has a number of new products under development and Inspiration Healthcare believes it is well positioned to explore the potential of these once they are released.
"We have worked successfully with both these companies for many years and are delighted to have been able to extend the relationship for future years," said Chief Executive Neil Campbell.
Shares in Inspiration Healthcare were trading 3.7% higher on Tuesday at 70.00 pence each.
