Wed, 05th Nov 2014 07:53

LONDON (Alliance News) - Infinis Energy PLC has secured a GBP52 million project financing facility to back the construction and operation of the A'Chruach Wind Farm in Scotland.

The new facilities have been provided by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC and National Australia Bank Ltd.

Infinis said the funding will back the construction and operation of A'Chruach, located in Argyle and Bute in Scotland. It will have an installed capacity of 43 megawatts and is expected to be operational in March 2016.

The group has also agreed a deal with Senvion SE to supply the turbines and provide ongoing turbine maintenance at the project. RJ McLeod will handle the balance of plant work and AXPO Trading will be the power purchase agreement offtaker.
