IN BRIEF: Volex selected as Tesla's NACS coupler manufacturer

Volex PLC - Basingstoke, England-based specialist integrated manufacturer of critical power and data transmission products - Announces it is now a licensed partner of electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc for the North American Charging Standard EV charging system. Adds it is stocked and ready to immediately supply automotive original equipment manufacturers and charging infrastructure suppliers.

"As a selected supplier of the NACS coupler, this further validates that Volex continues to be the trusted manufacturing partner of Tesla's charging system technology to the world's leading EV manufacturing companies and suppliers who utilise the NACS EV Charging system," says Chair Nat Rothschild.

Current stock price: 311.25 pence, down 0.9% at midday on Wednesday in London
