IN BRIEF: Uru Metals interim loss narrows after settlement of debt

Uru Metals Ltd - exploration and development firm - Pretax loss in six months to September 30 narrows to GBP794,000 from GBP1.8 million a year before. This can be put down to the GBP1.5 million loss from the settlement of debt in the year before that was not repeated. Reports no revenue the six months, unchanged from the year before.

Looks forward to starting the diamond exploration drilling program at its Zebediela project in the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, that is scheduled to begin in the second half. Adds that is hoping to be granted a further mining right to the south of the Zebediela project from the South African Department of Mineral Resources.
