Starcom PLC - remote tracking systems, based in Jersey - Proposes to change name to t4s IoT Tracking Solutions PLC at a general meeting on November 19. The name change is intended to coincide with a rebranding of the company's various products and a relaunch of the product range, as part of a revised strategy to respond to the major issues suffered in the shipping and freight movement sector.
Starcom also proposes to restructure its share capital through a share consolidation on a basis of one new share for every eight existing shares held, which the company believes can improve the liquidity of its shares and increase trading volumes.
Current stock price: 1.70 pence, up 14% on Wednesday
