Scholium Group PLC - London-based rare books, arts and collectibles - Promotes Bernard Shapero to chief executive officer and board director. Shapero is founder & managing director of Shapero Rare Books Ltd, the core trading division of Scholium. Also hires Philip Tansey to be part-time chief financial officer, replacing the retiring Peter Floyd. Tansey was CFO of brokers WH Ireland and Panmure Gordon. Both appointments are effective from Tuesday. David Harland remains chair, having taken on the role back in November, replacing Jasper Allen.
