IN BRIEF: Savannah Resources Loss Widens Despite Administrative Cuts

Savannah Resources PLC - resource development company with operations in Portugal, Mozambique and Oman - Posts pretax loss in the first half ended June 30 of USD6.5 million, widening from USD2.0 million a year prior. Administrative expenses were down to USD1.1 million from USD1.9 million a year before. Says that, going forward, it will continue to adapt the business within the new Covid-19 protocols within each country it operates and remains positive about company's potential in becoming the a significant supplier of lithium raw material to "Europe's rapidly developing battery value chain".

Current stock price: 2.42 pence

Year-to-date change: up 7.6%
