RiverFort Global Opportunites PLC - AIM-listed investment company based in London - Reports net asset value per share of 1.298p at September 30, a 4.3% increase from 1.244p at June 30, while NAV increases by 4.8% to GBP8.8 million at September 30 from GBP8.4 million at June 30. Notes 11.9% increase in net asset value over the first nine months of 2020. Says investment activity continued in the third quarter with the company making a "substantial investment" in Tanzanian Gold Corp, a gold production company listed on the New York and Toronto stock exchanges with a market capitalisation of more than USD130 million.
Says investment income during the third quarter of its financial year decreased to GBP669,425 at September 30 from GBP770,380 at June 30, making a total of GBP1.4 million for the first nine months of 2020 due to "robust trading." Has around GBP3 million of net cash available for further investment, RiverFort says.
