IN BRIEF: OPG Power Ventures Issues INR2.0 Billion In Debentures

OPG Power Ventures PLC - Indian power plant operator - Subsidiary OPG Power Generations Pvt Ltd raises INR2.0 billion, around GBP21.2 million, through a placing of 2,000 secured redeemable non-convertible debentures. Debentures pay 9.9% interest rate, are repayable after three years, and will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market of the Bombay Stock Exchange. Proceeds to finance principal repayments on existing term loans through to June 2022.

Current stock price: 12.52 pence

Year-to-date change: down 26%
