IN BRIEF: Lighthouse Properties cuts Hammerson interest further

Lighthouse Properties PLC - Mauritius-based property investor previously named Lighthouse Capital Ltd - Sells 98.6 million shares in Hammerson PLC for ZAR651.1 million. Late in November and early December, Lighthouse disposed of about 243.6 million shares in Hammerson for around ZAR1.60 billion. As at December 15, Lighthouse directly owned 846.6 million shares, or 17%, in Hammerson. Hammerson is a London-based property development and investment company. Lighthouse says its sale of Hammerson shares will allow it to pursue yield-accretive direct property acquisitions.

12-month change: up 6.5%

Current Hammerson stock price in London: 27.96 pence, down 0.1%

12-month change: up 11%

Current Hammerson stock price in Johannesburg: ZAR6.65, up 0.5%

12-month change: up 29%
