Katoro Gold PLC - Tanzania-focused gold and nickel exploration - Raises GBP1.1 million through a placing and subscription of 73.3 million new ordinary shares at 1.5 pence per share with new and existing shareholders. Chair Louis Coetzee and Directors Paul Dudley, Myles Campion, Tinus Maree and Louis Scheepers each acquired 666,667 shares in the fundraise. Funds to be used to progress Blyvoor gold project and Haneti polymetallic project. Power Metal Resources PLC, which owns a 3.9% stake in Katoro Gold, notes the fundraise.
