IN BRIEF: HgCapital Trust invests GBP114 million in IFS and WorkWave

HgCapital Trust PLC - technology-focused investment - Manager Hg becomes a significant minority investor in IFS and Workwave. The transaction values IFS and WorkWave at USD10 billion. Investment organisation EQT remains the majority shareholder. HgCapital Trust's investment of GBP114.2 million "will reduce HGT's outstanding commitments to invest in Hg transactions to approximately GBP792 million," the trust says. HgCapital participates in the private equity investments of manager Hg.
