FireAngel Safety Technology Group PLC - Coventry-based fire safety products firm - Hires Jon Kempster, currently non-executive director at Ted Baker PLC, Redcentric PLC and Bonhill Group PLC, as interim chief financial officer with immediate effect. Says he is to replace Group Finance Director Mike Stilwell, who resigned in November, and the search for a permanent replacement remains ongoing.
Reports group revenue in November is "significantly higher" than in October, and is up 20% when compared to the same month in the previous year. Says this is driven by the company's Trade and Retail sectors delivering revenue in November that is materially higher than any other month this year.
Chair John Conoley says: "It's particularly pleasing to see the positive recovery in our trade business following the impact of the pandemic and the subsequent Covid-19 restrictions on industry earlier in the year. There are clearly continued uncertainties around UK and European Covid-19 measures, as well as Brexit and it is therefore reassuring to see the continued upward trajectory of trading."
