Filtronic PLC - Leeds-based designer and manufacturer of products for the critical communications, wireless telecoms and defence & aerospace markets - Announced a GBP4.9 million contract win from its lead defence and aerospace customer for the supply of high performance transmit-receive modules for airborne applications. The order will see the modules supplied over a two-year period starting in August and is a follow-on contract to the supply contract signed in 2017, which concluded in June but is for a new end-client of the customer.
