Directa Plus PLC - London-based producer and supplier of graphene nanoplatelets - Sees its environmental services subsidiary Setcar win an EU Regional Operation Program grant worth EUR1.2 million, including EUR600,000 in non-refundable financing. Notes that the project will last two years and begins on August 21.
Setcar plans to use the funding to buy additional equipment for its hydrocarbon waste treatment and disposal business. Says its subsidiary's expanded services will include Direct Plus' patented Grafysorber technology for treating water sludges and emulsions containing hydrocarbons.
