Countrywide PLC - estate agent - Suitor Connells Ltd acquires further 2.7% stake in Countrywide, buying all 895,360 shares in company owned by Alchemy Partners. Connells now owns or has received support for over 55% of Countrywide shares. Alchemy on Friday confirmed that it will no longer make an offer for Countrywide.
