IN BRIEF: Botswana Diamonds to begin further drilling at Thorny River

Botswana Diamonds PLC - diamond exploration company with licenses in Botswana and South Africa - Says further drilling programme on its Thorny River diamond prospect in the Limpopo province of South Africa will begin next Monday. Following the completion of the earth works during the course of this week, the second stage six-hole reverse circulation programme is expected to take two weeks. The results will be announced shortly after.

Botswana Diamonds recovered 11 promising gems at the Thorny River asset last month.

Current stock price: 0.91 pence, up 10% on Thursday

Year-to-date change: up 6.8%
