AssetCo PLC - Middle East-focused provider of management and resources to the fire and emergency services - Court of Appeal rules accountant Grant Thornton will pay 75% of company's costs of the appeal, and will pay the firm GBP250,000.
"As a result of the Court of Appeal hearings the current estimate of the benefit to AssetCo including interest and costs is GBP28.5 million. This is after a reduction in the damages from GBP21.2 million to GBP15.6 million plus interest accrued to date of GBP7.6 million and an interim payment of costs of about GBP5.3 million," AssetCo added.
