iEnergizer hikes dividend by 36% as profit surges on new contracts

Mon, 14th Nov 2022 12:59

(Alliance News) - iEnergizer Ltd profit surged 17% in the first six months of the company's financial year as revenue and margin increased, it said on Monday.

iEnergizer is a Noida, India-based IT service management firm.

Pretax profit in the half year that ended September 30 was USD44.4 million, up 17% from USD37.9 million a year before, while revenue rose by 24% to UD152 million from USD122.6 million.

The growth was achieved through securing new customer contracts and deepening existing customer relationships along with continued cost management, the company said.

iEnergizer declared an interim dividend of 11.07p per ordinary share, up 36% from 8.12p last year.

Looking ahead, iEnergizer said it has confidence for the rest of the financial year due to new customer contract wins, the repeat nature of business, and improved profit margin.

Chair Marc Vassanelli said: "With iEnergizer's solid foundations; its proven strength in operational execution and healthy balance sheet; our differentiated offerings, successful new sales initiatives, and substantial opportunities for further growth identified, we expect a continued strong momentum across the group."

iEnergerizer shares were up 1.1% to 483.75p at midday in London.
