(Alliance News) - Herald Investment Trust PLC on Wednesday said Henrietta Marsh has been appointed as a non-executive director with effect from Sunday.
The company said Marsh has a strong track record as a fund manager and non-executive director, having worked in UK small cap and private equity investment over several decades and then pursued a plural career.
She is currently a non-executive director of voice, data and mobile products supplier Gamma Communications PLC, a trustee of investment firm 3i Group PLC's pension fund and a member of London Stock Exchange's AIM advisory group.
"We are delighted that Henrietta has agreed to join the board," said Chair Ian Russell. "As a non-executive director, she has first-hand experience of overseeing governance requirements and delivering on corporate objectives."
Shares in investment company were trading 0.3% higher in London on Wednesday at 1,314.00 pence each.
