Gfinity expands strategic partnership with Venatus

Thu, 08th Apr 2021 09:05

(Sharecast News) - Esports outfit Gfinity has expanded its strategic partnership with global advertising technology platform Venatus, extending its remit to include most of the group's fast-growing websites.
Gfinity said on Thursday that under the new pair's new agreement, Venatus will continue to monetise websites in the GDM network through advertising space and connecting publishers and brands with gamers and esports enthusiasts. The partnership will also see further collaboration on sales, bespoke content and a number of innovative new products.

The AIM-listed firm highlighted that the agreement was just the latest in a series of strategic partnerships under its publishing platform, Gfinity Digital Media, which it also noted was on track to deliver revenues of £2.0m in the current trading year.

Chief executive John Clarke said: "We are delighted to announce the expansion of our relationship with Venatus to drive engagement across some of our fast-growing websites.

"GDM continues to deliver against our key strategic pillar of 'what we own', collaborating with some of the most innovative names in the digital gaming space, sharing expertise and technology to cross-sell to an ever-growing community of gamers."

As of 0905 BST, Gfinity shares had shot up 7.14% to 4.50p.
