(Alliance News) - Games Workshop Group PLC said Tuesday it proposed a 35 pence per share dividend in line with its policy of distributing "truly surplus cash."
Earlier in November, Games Workshop announced its expected sales of no loss than GBP140 million and pretax profit of no less than GBP55 million for the six months ending December 1. This followed the games retailer reported that trading had "continued well" since its last update in September.
For the six months ended December 2, 2018, Games Workshop reported pretax profit of GBP40.8 million from GBP125.2 million the year before.
Shares in Games Workshop were 1.5% lower at 5,655.00 pence in London on Tuesday evening.
