Future names Peter Allen chairman

Magazine publisher Future has named Peter Allen as chairman following Roger Parry's decision to stand down in May. The publisher of hobby magazines such as Classic Rock and Guitar World said Allen is currently chairman of Proximagen Neuroscience and has previously held posts as CEO of ProStrakan and chief financial officer of electronics firm Abacus. Commenting on the appointment chief executive Stevie Spring said, "We are delighted to have attracted as his successor such an experienced chairman as Peter Allen. He has an excellent track record as both director and chairman of public companies." CJ Future
