Fri, 04th Jul 2014 15:59

Greene King recovered from yesterday's declines, which came after the pub owner warned that consumers were still cautious, despite posted a rise in profit. Computacenter rose after UBS upgraded its from 'neutral' to 'buy'. Evraz shares climbed on rumours that the company is looking to offload a stake in its North American assets in an effort to cut debt. According to reports, Evraz has not yet made a decision on how much of an interest it would sell or whether or not the disposal will go ahead at all.Having risen strongly for the past two days, today's session saw Ocado sink into the red. The online groceron Tuesday claimed it outperformed its key online grocery competitors as it delivered a considerable rise in earnings despite the intensifying price competition from traditional supermarkets and its own increased internal investment. Thanks to its new partnership with Morrisons.com, gross retail sales climbed 15.6% to £442.4m helping it to move into the black at the profit line with £7.5m before tax. Balfour Beatty was also lower after Westhouse Securities cut its target price from 220p to 183p and downgraded it from 'neutral' to 'sell', RBC Capital cut its target price from 246p to 200p and downgraded it from 'outperform' to 'neutral', and Numis cut its target price to 223p and downgraded the stock from 'add' to 'hold'.
