Frontier Developments 'Elite: Dangerous' Preview Launches On Xbox One

LONDON (Alliance News) - Video game studio Frontier Developments PLC said Tuesday morning that a preview for its title 'Elite: Dangerous' is now available on Microsoft Corp's Xbox One.

Microsoft announced the release as part of their presentation at the E3 games industry trade show in Los Angeles Monday. 'Elite: Dangerous' will be included in Microsoft's 'Xbox One Game Preview Program', which will allow Xbox users to preview and purchase work-in-progress game titles.

The launch of the game on the Xbox One will take place later this year, Frontier Developments said.

"We are delighted to be able to work closely with Microsoft in this new way to engage with Xbox One player," said Chief Executive Officer David Braben in a statement.

Shares in Frontier are trading up 1.6% at 221.50 pence Tuesday morning.
