The latest talks between British Airways and cabin crew union Unite broke down Tuesday, the mediator said today.The conciliation service Acas had given both sides a new set of proposals last week for a "potential way forward", but said that "regrettably" they were unable to break the deadlock.Acas said in a statement: "Regrettably, the parties were unable to move closer to an agreement.""At present there are no further meetings planned, but Acas will monitor developments and our services remain available."British Airways cabin crew recently staged three five-day strikes, causing disruption to travellers.
