Fidessa names new CFO

(ShareCast News) - Andy Skelton has been appointed as Fidessa's new chief financial officer (CFO), the trading investment solutions provider said on Tuesday.The current deputy CFO of semiconductor company CSR, who will replace Andy Malpass, will step into his new role on 26 October, the FTSE 250 company said in a short statement, indicating Malpass will remain in an executive role until February 2016."Andy is a very high calibre individual with strong finance and commercial skills alongside substantial experience in the technology sector," said group chairman John Harmer."Andy will be an exceptional addition to our management team and is ideally suited to help lead Fidessa in the next phase of its development."Fidessa shares were down 0.05% to 1,929.00p at 0849 BST on Tuesday.
