(Alliance News) - Evrima PLC on Wednesday said its Botswana-focused investee Premium Nickel Resources Ltd on Monday announced it has completed the acquisition of the Botswana-based Selkirk mine for an undisclosed amount.
Toronto-based Premium Nickel said it began drilling programmes in 2020 which confirmed old data and gathered new data, including a metallurgical study.
The transaction of the nickel, copper, cobalt, platinum-group elements Selkirk mine "will help to establish the companies re-development plan to produce separate copper and nickel-cobalt concentrates," Premium Nickel added.
The new mine is about 75 kilometres north of its Selebi Mines, it said.
Evrima shares were unchanged at 4.15 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
