Eqtec fails to finalise terms to move Deeside project forward

Wed, 01st Mar 2023 19:16

(Alliance News) - Eqtec PLC on Wednesday said it is continuing to discuss constructive options with its partners to move forward on the Deeside waste-to-gas/fuel project.

However, the AIM-listed firm said a share-purchase agreement for the project, between its fully-owned subsidiary Deeside WTV and Logik WTE, had failed to achieve all requirements within schedule.

Talks between the two parties will continue to discuss constructive options for moving forward with development of the project.

Chief Executive David Palumbo commented: "Funding the project remains a primary focus and we believe that working with Logik and our other partners will help us achieve our objective."

Shares in Eqtec closed 18% lower at 0.26 pence in London on Wednesday.
