Elektron names Daley chairman

Components group Elektron today announced Keith Daley has been appointed executive chairman. Daley has been non-executive chairman and temporary chief executive officer since the resignation of the previous CEO in 2008.Commenting on the appointment Daley said, "We have an excellent team, innovative technologies and a truly global footprint. There are few companies our size with the international growth possibilities of Elektron. My priority will be to ensure that we continue to improve upon our current performance and realise the company's true potential."
