(Alliance News) - EKF Diagnostics Holdings PLC on Monday forecast full-year earnings ahead of expectations and also ahead of the year prior.
The healthcare products manufacturer said as a result of its strong performance in October combined with expected orders for the rest of the year, it expects to deliver 2020 revenue of GBP60 million and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of GBP23 million.
For comparison, for 2019, EKF Diagnostics posted revenue of GBP44.9 million and adjusted ebitda of GBP12.0 million.
The company attributes its positive performance and confident outlook 2020 to "significantly-improved" trading in its core business in the final quarter, along with continued orders for the PrimeStore MTM Covid-19 sample collection device.
Shares in EKF Diagnostics were trading 0.1% lower at 77.45 pence each on Monday in London.
